Memory Card Compulsory Requirement for Some PlayStation Vita

One of the most notable things that arose from the FAQ is the fact that a memory card is "pretty much a requirement" because some Vita titles won't even boot up without one. Earlier this week Kotaku Japan reported that retail versions of @ Field, Uncharted, Dream Club Zero, Disgaea 3​, Everybody's Golf 6, Monster Radar and possibly Touch My Katamari would only save data to the memory card rather than the Vita game card. If you don't have a memory card, Famitsu suggests, you won't be able to play these games at all. Downloadable versions of all titles will require the use of a memory card to save data.
