What's New in Version 1.9

Released

  • Note, that this script should be named "nmp" and not "getnmp" as "getnmp" was a sister script to my original "nmp" script which I did not update here. I did submit "nmp 1.9" on it's own, but since it was rejected with the recommendation of adding it as an update to getnmp, I guess this'll have to do.
  • Though if an admin could change the name of this to nmp, instead of getnmp, it'd be right. :P
  • * Version 1.9:
  • * Merged /nmp and /getnmp scripts together.
  • * Added a new dialog, and -d switch for /nmp; which will only open the dialog.
  • No pasting is done when this is used. Which contains a paste button, and
  • two drop down combo boxes to let you choose the output of the paste, and
  • the highlighting type to use for the paste.
  • Many will recognize the layout of the dialog, as it closely represents that
  • of the old /getnmp dialog.
  • * Added -b switch to /nmp, this is only to be used if you know what you're doing.
  • If you use -b, you must create your own binary hash table, with the
  • appropriate data. I implemented this switch for use with the new dialog,
  • as such, I will only document the -b switch in my changelog.
  • * Made some changes to the switch handling in the
  • nmp alias. The old one was a little too unforgiving
  • of typos, if you put a non existant switch in the old
  • version, it wouldn't do any of the switches.
  • * Adjusted the code behind the "Load?" button. It still uses $input, however,
  • it now asks you what you would like to use as a filename for the script.
  • This also performs two checks, to be sure that the directory exists,
  • and to make sure that the filename is valid characters.
