Anno 2070 Demo Available Today

 

 

The Anno series from Ubisoft has typically been set in the past, offering historically accurate city building and economic simulations sure to please the hardest of the hardcore strategy gamers. Latest iteration Anno 2070, due to release on November 18 of this year, is the first to take the game into the future. We had an early look at the game at Gamescom this year, and it was looking good then.

 

From today, you can try it out for yourself thanks to the official demo, available here. The demo offers the first two missions from the game, tasking the player with building a hydroelectric power plant for the Tycoon faction. Gameplay concepts are introduced through a series of quests designed to familiarize players with core mechanics one at a time.
