!whois for eggdrop

Recommended Posts

  • Administrators

Gathers results from the irc /whois command and returns it to the channel.
Triggers:

  • Default trigger is "!" (This can be changed in the setting at the top)
  • !whois (whois can also be changed to another word at the top of the script)

Syntax:

  • !whois nickname
  • nickname must be a user currently online

  • Save this code to a file called whois.tcl
  • Place the file in your eggdrop scripts directory
  • Add this line to eggdrop.conf -->> source scripts/whois.tcl
  • Rehash or restart your eggdrop
  • (In the console) type .chanset #channelname +whois "where #channelname is the channel you want the script on in"

See the setup at the top of the script.
