Dragon Age Origins to Conclude "Dramatically" in Witch Hunt

Though it won't undo the fashion crime committed against poor Morrigan when you met her in Dragon Age Origins, BioWare's last downloadable expansion for the game, Witch Hunt, will finally reconcile her absence.

If you haven't played (or finished) Dragon Age Origins, warning, there be spoilers ahead.

Let's see if I can pull this off without spoiling flagrantly: Things that were bad are now not so bad (this much, safe to say, is deducible by cliche). The kingdom's happy, but you're not, because, well, what about Morrigan, the sorceress who [big spoiler]?

Word is she's back, that she's been spotted somewhere in the wilderness where you first bumped into her.

"Is it truly her?" asks the BioWare teaser [safe bet: yes]. "If it is, then why is she here and what secret does she carry with her? The Warden [that's you] heads into the forest to find out and tie up this last loose end once and for all."

BioWare says you'll be able to "confront Morrigan," that you'll "earn powerful rewards that transfer into your Awakening and Origins campaign," and that you can either import your character from Origins or Awakening, or create a new high-level one from scratch.

Witch Hunt will be available on September 7 for PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 and run $7, i.e. 560 BioWare Points, 560 MS Points, or $6.99 on Sony's PlayStation Network. It also shares a launch date with Mass Effect 2 downloadable content expansion Lair of the Shadow Broker.
